Another Hersh Hoax

From CNN:
(Seymour ed.) Hersh said U.S. officials were involved in "extensive planning" for a possible attack -- "much more than we know."

The effort has been under way at least since last summer, Hersh said on CNN's "Late Edition.

"The goal is to identify and isolate three dozen, and perhaps more, such targets that could be destroyed by precision strikes and short-term commando raids," he wrote in "The New Yorker" magazine, which published his article in editions that will be on newsstands Monday.

According to Hersh, the 'effort' has been going on since the summer of 2004 (4 years ago) since this story is from January of 2005.

Apparently, Hersh's goal is to keep yelling fire so that when the fire doesn't happen, he can claim his reporting prevented it.

And there won't be an attack on Iran because General Petraeus wouldn't have taken the Commander position at Central Command. Unless Iran does something very suicidal.
