Private school for me, but not for thee

President-elect Obama has chosen to send his own children to a private school. What did candidate Obama believe regarding public vs. private schools? On Obama's campaign website regarding Vouchers:
Obama
Barack Obama believes free, quality public education is the heart of the American promise. He supports public charter schools, but not vouchers.

McCain
John McCain will take much-needed money away from our schools to fund private schools instead.

Obama's Change = Do as I say, not as I do.

It should be noted that the only executive experience that President-elect Barack Obama has occurred when he was the Chairman of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge(CAC). The goal of the CAC was to improve Chicago's public schools. After squandering 100 million dollars of other people's money, Obama accomplished nothing.

From his own personal experience, Obama chose to send his children to a PRIVATE school. He just doesn't want the rest of America to have the same choice, unless they're rich like him.

President-elect Obama, when are you closing Guantanamo?

On August 01, 2007, Senator Barack Obama gave a speech outlining how his administration would win the war.

From President-elect Obama's campaign website (link, google cache link)

"As President, I will close Guantanamo, reject the Military Commissions Act, and adhere to the Geneva Conventions."

What is the date you've chosen, President-elect Obama?

Iran Rejects Obama 's 'Change'

President-elect Obama said (link) at his first press conference,
"Iran's development of a nuclear weapon, I believe, is unacceptable. And we have to mount a international effort to prevent that from happening. Iran's support of terrorist organizations, I think, is something that has to cease."

Iran's parliament speaker Ali Larijani response (link),
"Obama must know that the change that he talks about is not simply a superficial changing of colors or tactics," Larijani said in comments carried by the semi-official Mehr News Agency.

"What is expected is a change in strategy, not the repetition of objections to Iran's nuclear program, which will be taking a step in the wrong direction."

more chilling
"you should know that you cannot prevent the Islamic Republic [from reaching its goals in the nuclear field],"(emphasis ed.)

Obama's impotence halts stockmarket drop.

President-elect Obama's influence over the economy was demonstrated by reviewing the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) and its reaction to Obama's first press conference on November 7 . The chart above shows the DJIA for the November 7 and the market's level throughout the day.
Obama's press conference began about 10 minutes before 3pm (Eastern).
Immediately prior to the Obama press conference and at it's start, the Dow Jones sharply sank as shown on the chart above (as Obama speech).

But, AFTER Obama stated,
" Now, the United States has only one government and one president at a time. And until January 20th of next year, that government is the current administration.

I've spoken to President Bush. I appreciate his commitment to ensuring that his economic policy team keeps us fully informed as developments unfold. And I'm also thankful for his invitation to the White House."(emphasis ed.)
The slide immediately stopped and began to reverse shown on the chart above (marked as January 20) once the President-elect made it clear he was not going to interfere with the current Presidency. How will the market respond after January 20, 2009, to a President Obama?

Obama's victory causes 2nd Day Stockmarket Plunge?

For the second day in a row after the election of Senator Obama to President, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dived yet again by over 400 points.
On Election day the DJIA closed at 9625.28
The day after Senator Obama's election, 9139.27
Thursday it closed at 8695.79

Have investors decided to look elsewhere for safe investments, instead of risk a greater profit in the market that will simply be taxed in order to 'spread the wealth around'?

Obama has officially chosen Congressman Rahm Emanuel as his chief of staff of his Presidency. Emanuel is a key ally of the extremist gun ban group the Brady Campaign.

US Prez Election of 2004 was more important!

While the election of 2008 was significant, it wasn't crucial. In 2008, Iraq has been stabilized, Al Qaeda in Iraq has been virtually destroyed, and Iraq has a functioning democratically elected government. Iraq's entire military has been rebuilt and trained by the United States. None of which would have ever happened with a President John Kerry elected in 2004.

With a President Kerry, Iraq in 2008 would be hell on earth, the worst of Lebanon 1980's and Afghanistan 1990's combined.
